This piece was the most fun to do. I had just gotten back from a trip to the North Carolina coast and had all kinds of objects that I had collected from the beaches there. I incorporated some into this quilt. As well as using the text on the canvas around each panel. I did each panel individually then arranged them on the quilt. Attention was paid to the number of panels in a symbolic sense ( if you know what is meant you know what I mean). The text on the middle panel is from the performance I did.
